Community Ambassador Program(CAP)
EMG CAP aims to:
- Engage and empower young people worldwide who are interested in public voluntary activities and want to be part of positive social action. Individuals who work collaboratively in their communities to address issues that impact health and wellbeing.
- Allow the public voice for health, wellbeing and social care to be heard by involving young people as community ambassadors.

- Young adult ambassadors instigate potential solutions to a problem. Often the problem is one that they have identified or defined themselves.
- They take responsibility for developing and implementing projects/initiatives, allowing individuals and families to reach their full potential.

- Young adult ambassadors are empowered to inspire and mobilize their communities towards a common purpose.
- This is usually done in response to health, wellbeing or social issues and challenges, to effect positive change.

- Young adult ambassadors are offered opportunities to engage in challenges, to make decisions and effect change.
- The actions are led by the young adults with an environment of ongoing support and training which can reflect on their personal experiences and skills.
How You Can Help?
EMG Community Ambassador Role
- Engagement : Community ambassadors work in the local community, trying to make contact with individuals to discuss issues such as health, well being and social care services in their area. As well as finding out their views and potentials .You will be involved in public events and discussions .
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion :Community ambassadors work in the local community. They particularly try to reach out to communities that the health and social care services have challenges with – such as ethnic minority groups, the homeless community, people with disabilities, elderly people and vulnerable people.

If you're between 16-25 and have good communication skills as well as the ambition, compassion and willingness to help others then we want to hear from you.
Community ambassadors receive expenses and, in certain circumstances, recognition payments are offered.
